In the grounds of Towneley Hall Burnley Mutt Strutt Plus - sponsored dog walk with a difference. Collect sponsors or pay a participation fee for the 5km walk with games and challenges (for dog and owner) along the way. All participants receive a special rosette and the winner a 'doggy hamper' Sponsor forms available August 2008 - call 01282 455992.

Sunday 14th December 2008Christmas Fayre at Shores Hey Rescue Centre.
Traditional Christmas Fayre with Santa, stalls and raffle. Christmas Blessing of the rescue centre horses and carol singing. 12noon - 4pm at Shores Hey Rescue Centre (see above details).
